eDrive is delivered as a single, self-extracting (.zip) file that can be extracted to any folder on the local hard drive of the PC or Server.
It is recommended to place the extracted files in a convenient folder location such as: C:\Program Files\eDrive

eDrive will require you to change the windows permission on the eDrive folder (this allows eDrive to read and write config files and log files)
1. Right click the "eDrive" folder in "C:\Program Files (x86)\" or "C:\Program Files" 2. Click "Properties" 3. Click on the "Security" tab 4. Click the "Edit" button next to "To change permissions, click Edit" 5. Click on the "Users" group in the "Group or user names" section 6. Click the "Full control" check box under the "Allow" column 7. Click "Apply" and "Ok"
eDrive will also require the use of the latest version of Java (64 bit). This can be downloaded at the following URL Install Java
