All the devices in eDrive support value modifications. This provides eDrive with the ability to convert values from one system into a compatible value in another system. Strings can be converted into numbers or numbers can be converted into strings. Some devices can be modified in the Device Points table and all devices can set the Value Modification in the Advance Properties menu.
To set a Value Modification in eDrive, type in your replacement string in either the Device Points table or in the Advance Properties menu.
Below is a table containing a few possible examples for the Value Modifications. On the left are the values that eDrive would read from the device, in the middle is Value Modification that will be performed on the point value, and finally on the right is the resulting value eDrive that will be stored in eDrive's memory.
