Driven Points are Point Objects whose value is set, or written by eDrive from the values of other Point Objects in the system.



In this diagram, Devices A, B and C are defined within eDrive along with their respective Point Objects.  An additional property has been set for Device B, Point 1 to designate it as a Driven Point, meaning that its value will be set by eDrive based on the value originally read from Device A.

In a similar manner, Device C will have two of its Point Objects set, or driven, from other eDrive objects.

The configuration of Driven Points is done by establishing Driven Point Bindings, shown in the next section.
