Click the Additional Properties icon for the selected Point object row.
The input fields for Additional Properties will vary based on the type of device selected. In general, the following Advanced Properties will be offered. The Technical Reference section of this help file will list the Advanced Properties in the sections for each Device Type.
Point Advanced Properties
Value Modification
[Optional] Allows the raw value of the Point object to be modified from a numeric to a string or string to a numeric. For example, a raw value of “OFF” can become 0 or a raw value of 1 can become “On.”
Multiplier
[Optional] Allows the raw value of the Point object to be scaled by a constant factor. For example, enter a value of 0.001 to scale a raw value of Watts to the eDrive Point value in kiloWatts.
Offset
[Optional] Allows the raw value of the Point object to be offset by a constant factor. For example, a temperature sensor calibration factor could be entered as an offset value of -1.2. Offset property is applied to the raw value after any Multiplier property is applied.
Watchdog
[Optional] Increases the value of this point when the selected device points are all reliable. The value will loop between 0 and 255.
History Recording Type
[Optional] eDrive is capable of recording and storing historic values of any points. Recording types of None, Simple, and TimeScale are available. Values are stored on a 'First In - First Out' basis and the total number of entries will vary based on the recording type selected. See Technical Reference - ______ for more details.
Recording Interval
Specify the time in seconds between entries in the history records.
Maximum Entries
Specify the maximum number of entries to be stored. When the maximum number of entries has been reached, the oldest records will be deleted as new records are added.
View History
Opens an additional web page that allows review and export of the historic values for this Point object.
